John Fielder Photography Slide Show and Workshop

This is your opportunity to learn landscape photography directly from John Fielder. Find out how John creates his award-winning images and gain a deeper understanding of the visual aspects of nature. In a comprehensive slide show lecture, learn how to improve your compositions and get an insider's look at professional techniques. At the end of the lecture, John will discuss the most important tools used in post-processing programs such as Lightroom. The workshop is appropriate for all levels of photographers, beginner to advanced, and a great way to improve your travel photography.

John Fielder has worked tirelessly to promote the protection of Colorado's ranches, open space, and wildlands during his 40-year career as a nature photographer and publisher. His photography has influenced people and legislation and has earned him recognition including the 1993 Sierra Club Ansel Adams Award and the Aldo Leopold Foundation's Achievement Award in 2011. In 2017 Colorado Mountain College presented him an Honorary Degree in Sustainability Studies. 51 books have been published depicting his Colorado photography.

John will be selling and signing copies of all of his popular Colorado books and calendars, including his new book John Fielder in Focus. To celebrate his 40 years of photography, John has co-authored a book about his life as a nature photographer and environmentalist. From childhood roaming the forests of New England and North Carolina to raising his family in Colorado, you will learn how John's life was changed forever by unforeseen circumstances.
