Dances with Branches: Recreational Tree Climbing
Remember how much fun it was to climb trees as a kid? Wouldn't it be great to take up this activity again and be able to climb trees for many decades to come? Join us for recreational tree climbing, a fun activity that uses arborist rope and proven techniques to get that bird's-eye view. Employing the double-rope technique to protect both climber and tree, Tree Climbing Colorado provides all the training and equipment you'll need to enjoy an afternoon of climbing. No special abilities or strength are required, but participants should be reasonably fit and healthy. Instructor Harv Teitelbaum is a TCI-certified climbing facilitator, holds a Master's degree in environmental leadership and ecopsychology, and formerly worked in the Division of Wildlife's education department. Class size is limited, so sign up soon!
