iPhone Basics: Make Friends with Your Phone (Online)
We all carry around little computers in our pockets that we occasionally also use to make or receive calls. There is so much that these gems of technology can do, but it can be overwhelming to master the features. This class is an introductory orientation to the iPhone. In a relaxed, small group setting you can learn how to navigate and customize your device. Learn to use calendars, clocks, reminders, and notifications. Find out how to take photos and use Facetime. Learn how to use Siri and navigate with Maps. Explore other useful apps and get your own specific questions answered. Ben Goranson has been using and training on technology most of his life, including almost every version of the iPhone. His current position is in IT as regional training manager. This class is exclusively for iPhone users; have your iPhone and passwords. Make sure your phone is fully charged and the software is updated. NOTE: This course will be offered via Zoom. Register now and then prior to class the instructor will send you the link to attend. Look for an email with "CFU Zoom class" in the subject line.
