Evaluating Mutual Funds and ETFs
Congratulations! You have a deferred retirement account! Now you need to choose the best mutual funds or ETFs to put your money into. This class can help you make informed choices about fund selection based on your objectives and risk tolerance. We will look at how to screen for funds, what criteria to enter into a screener, and how to evaluate the results. Using Morningstar data sheets, we will look at metrics on individual funds to get the most from the information provided. Discover the importance of diversification in selecting different funds, and see examples of diversified portfolios for various risk levels. Class is taught by Ralph Futch, a longtime member and instructor with the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Better Investing.
