Make Your Own Meal Kits: Save Time, Money, & Your Health!
Are you trying to cut back on fast food, despite your life getting busier and busier? Prepackaged meal kits can be a tempting alternative, but there's so much packaging waste and uncertainty about their ingredients. Instead, with a little planning and a bit of prep time, you can prepare wholesome meals for you and your family. In this fun, hands-on class you'll learn how to prepare a week's worth of meals, using a variety of cooking techniques. Topics include prep-ahead tips, must-haves for your pantry, and cooking techniques (including stir-frying, baking, broiling, and using your Instant Pot). We'll work together in class to assemble a meal kit for you to take home. You'll also leave with a pantry stocking list, recipes, and tons of nutrition and shortcut tips. Retired from corporate America, Dawn Givens has a passion for cooking and giving back to her community. For her, serving good food is a way of showing love. Join her and share the love!
