Our Final Act: Dying Well (Online)
Life is a great circle, from birth to death. As they say, “the only things for certain are death and taxes.” So why, then, are conversations about death avoided? This class is about changing the narrative from fear-based decisions to making intentional plans from a grounded perspective. What are your wishes? How will you address your home, your stuff? Who do you want to connect with and how will you do it? It doesn’t have to be scary or sad. It can be graceful and beautiful. In this class we’ll explore a wide range of personal, relational, and pragmatic topics. You’ll take away resources for advanced healthcare directives, living will information, checklists to assist with planning, and strategies for managing stuff and memories. Lisa McIntrye is author of Living Small and Being Whole. She has created this class so that we might reduce our fear, make choices, and honor the inevitable transition.
