Mirror, Mirror... What is Your Body Image?

When you look in the mirror do you hear words of love and appreciation in your head? Or do you, like many other women, hear a critical inner voice denigrating your body? Girls and women are bombarded with ads and messages about how our bodies are never quite perfect enough. It gets worse as we age. Through exercises and discussion this class guides you to uncover your current body story. You’ll learn how to silence the critical voices and rewrite a story of disempowerment into one of love, compassion, and appreciation. A new story creates a new reality. Lynette Reiling created this class after searching for a body image program to support the acceptance of a body that had experienced the double whammy of breast cancer surgery in an aging body—there wasn’t one. As a certified life coach, Lynette empowers individuals to create their best lives through education and advocacy with a big dose of inspiration.
