Let’s Get Serious about Play!: Rediscover Joy & Reap the Rewards
We’ve all been through a hard stretch and it’s time to bring some lightness back into our lives! Play is the way we can relax, de-stress, and connect. While we may judge play as being unproductive, research shows that play benefits our health and functionality. Play can improve creativity, memory, resilience, and brain functioning. It helps boost immunity, generates optimism, and fosters a sense of belonging and empathy. This workshop will give you the facts and explain why adults need to play. But, since the best way to learn is by doing, there will also be opportunities to get out of your head and connect with your playful self and with the others in class.
