Retirement Income, Taxes, and You!
You may have a number of income sources to support retirement, but have you thought through the tax ramifications of those income streams? People with the same gross incomes in retirement can end up having very different net incomes. This class explores how you might use different strategies both before and after retiring to make sure taxation does not unnecessarily diminish your retirement income. The class focuses on understanding how different sources of income and different approaches can affect after tax income during the lifetime of retirees, and not on any specific products. M. Shannon Dana,a CFP® advisor and practitioner and adjunct professor at the College for Financial Planning, has more than 15 years' experience training other advisors and providing financial planning for individuals. Securities offered through LPL Financial, Member FINRA/SIPC. Advisory services offered through Western Wealth Management, a registered investment advisor. Colorado Free University, DC & Associates, and Western Wealth Management are separate entities from LPL Financial. The information in this class is not intended to be a substitute for specific individualized tax advice. We suggest that you discuss your specific tax issues with a qualified tax advisor.
