The Nuts & Bolts of Starting a Business

Before you launch your business, you need a solid understanding of the different types of business structures to choose from. The course will explain the formation, management, liability, taxation, and termination process of the five business formations: sole proprietorship, general partnership, limited partnership, limited liability company, and corporation. Learn what protections are afforded by each entity and begin to consider which might be best for your business. Stephanie Green is a paralegal, legal assistant, and owner of Greenbacks and Associates Group, a paralegal group that prepares business and legal documents. She is also the executive director for Another Life Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping those battling mental illness.
