Thrifting for Sustainability & Style

If you care about the planet AND want to look stylish, this is your class! Get the facts on the impact the retail fashion industry has on the environment so you can explore ways to lighten your affect. Shift focus to current trends to identify what looks good and stylish on you. Finally, discuss a strategy for shopping at thrift stores so you can find items that suit your look and complement your current wardrobe. Create your own “thrift list” to take along as your guide. Glorianna Schinagl attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco for Fashion Merchandising. She was the fashion editor for, a social calendar website, and the editor-in-chief of the fashion blog Fashion Folio. She is currently the editor of the lifestyle blog Haleeb and Honey, which documents her family's adventures in Denver with a stylish spin. She recently partnered on an event with Goodwill Industries which named her a “Colorado inflluencer thrifter.”
