Mindful Self-Care for the Present Moment

We're living in a stressful time. Good self-care is more important than ever. Do you build in time to take care of yourself before or while you take care of everything else? Join this course to discover evidence-based practical self-care strategies that you can weave into any part of your busy days/lives. Learn how to use mindfulness, meditation, and play to calm, soothe, and nurture yourself. Explore the power tools of gratitude, self-compassion, and forgiveness. Different strategies work better for different people, so we will discuss and practice a wide range of self-care principles and techniques to find what may be the best fit for you. Lara Dunn is a speech language pathologist and educator and has served as an adjunct faculty member at Metropolitan State University in the department of Communication Disorders and Sciences. She is a licensed religious science practitioner at Mile Hi Church. Your best resource is you, so learn how to maintain the strength and resilience you need to hold your own and thrive.
