Discover Your Dream Job: Using Your Interests to Develop Your Career
Are you working in your dream job? Do you know what it would be and how to get it? In this class, walk through a process that will help you zero in on what job or career would be a good fit and create a plan to pursue that new career direction. Take a self-assessment to better understand what you do well and discuss how to use this information to identify the jobs you want and how you’ll present yourself to potential employers. Participate in an activity to pinpoint the activities or tasks you enjoy so that you can begin to build a framework for your ideal job. Learn how to do a gap analysis so that you can make a plan to acquire the knowledge and skills you’re going to need in order to land the job you seek. Lindsay Hayes
