Crochet for Everyone: Open Form Crochet
Do you want to expand your creativity in crochet? Pick up a hook after many years? Open form crochet allows you to build on the basic stitches to create what you can imagine, without a pattern. We will cover the basics of single crochet in the round, half double and double crochet stitches, and open it up to more advanced stitches according to students' experience and interest. All levels are welcome. Anne Heerdt has a background in education and currently runs and teaches in an after school enrichment program. A lover of crochet, she wanted to get outside of the traditional patterns and started to create her own projects. She recently participated in Denver Maker Faire with an exhibit on crochet dragon puppets. Students will have the opportunity to choose from three simple projects to complete over the two weeks of class.
