Glorious, Vibrant Fused Glass
Glass fusing is used in decorative art pieces, jewelry, and functional pieces for the home. Learn the fundamentals from creating a design to selecting colors to cutting and gluing the glass. Learn the simple rules for success and how to work safely. The instructor will take your pieces to her kiln for firing, and you will be able to come back to pick up your unique, stunning fused glass work of art. Erinn Diekmann graduated from Purdue University with a BA in fine art and art education. She has worked with many different mediums but became hooked on fusible glass. She loves sharing the glory of fused art with students in the classes she teaches and at her studio, Melt Art Glass Studio. She offers two workshops: in “Vessels” you make a wall-hanging or table-top vase and in “Landscapes” you create a flat, decorative piece or a platter.
