Let's Bead It!: Basic Beaded Jewelry & Repair
Ever wanted to make your own beaded jewelry or repair a broken clasp on a favorite piece you own? In this course you will learn the basics of making simple, eye-catching beaded jewelry. Learn how to use the tools, select findings, and use crimp beads and head pins. You’ll have the chance to work with single and multistrand clasps, and learn how to finish your pieces neatly. Get tips on design and making your piece look good. If you have an old favorite you’d like to repair, bring it along. At the end of the course you will take home a pair of earrings and a bracelet or necklace. Marjorie Parkis has been making beaded jewelry for fun and gifts for about 15 years. She is an experienced trainer and uses her skills to share the fun and satisfaction that comes from creating your own jewelry.
