Spread a Little Kindness: A Crafty Class
Put your mindfulness and gratitude work to good use in finding ways for action in the world. Empathy, compassion, and kindness can be expressed through the simple crafts you make. We’ll spend some time as a group sharing thoughts about kindness and how it shows up in our lives. Then we’ll move to the craft tables to have fun creating items we can use to spread kindness in the world. Explore tiny sequin hearts to slip to a helpful store clerk, a kindness rock to leave by a neighbor’s door, and catchy posters to go anywhere. No artistic talent is needed, just an open and fun attitude. Joanna Hudson holds an MA in education and is a certified mediator. She has extensive experience coaching and teaching people of all ages. She offers this class as her way as an elder to bring more positivity and caring into the world. Optional materials fee is a contribution to Joanna’s “Spreading Kindness” fund. Class is free, but you must call and register to attend.
