Landscape Photography Workshop: An Introduction for DSLR Photographers

Do you want to take advantage of the incredible landscape here in Colorado? Or maybe you have a trip planned and want to photograph the countryside. This workshop is for those have DSLR cameras and want to delve deeper into landscape photography. We’ll start with a quick review of camera basics, then learn about composition, exposure, lighting, equipment, filters, best times to shoot, ways to scout locations, and more. The fourth meeting will be on the Sunday before your final class. You’ll go into the field for a 3-hour sunset photo shoot (exact time and place will be given in class). You’ll share your work and get feedback and tips in the final in class meeting. Michael Ciavatta received a certificate in landscape photography from the New York Institute of Photography and has his own landscape photography business, Ciavatta Photography. He has received awards for his work and has photos hanging in several prominent buildings in the metro area.
