The Art of Storytelling: For Personal & Professional Performance (Online)

Storytelling is both an art and a vital means of communicating in your career. There's no better way to get your ideas across than to tell a concise and colorful story. To keep your listeners engaged, you need to bring your characters to life, add humor and conflict, and make sure that your story, whether funny or serious, makes a point. In this workshop, learn and practice performance techniques for telling tales fit for social situations. The skills you learn are also applicable to professional and corporate settings. Coach Bill Smith trains actors, stand-up comics, and professional storytellers as well as business professionals, politicians, marketers, motivational speakers, and spiritual leaders. NOTE: This interactive class will be offered via Skype. A headset or earphones for your computer are preferable, but not essential. Make sure you have installed Skype on your computer.
