Tree of Life Pendant: Beginning Wire Wrapping

Wire wrapping is an easy-to-learn way to create inspiring jewelry. Once you learn the techniques, you can take the craft in all kinds of directions. In this hands-on class, learn the basics to create a unique, customizable tree of life pendant. Learn about types of wire, jewelry-making tools, designing using color and metals, and basic jewelry-making techniques. Leave class with a completed wire and beaded pendant in colors of your choice. Creating your own unique jewelry that represents your personal style is a wonderful expression of creativity. Maria Clark of Sweet Willow Designs is a local jewelry maker and mixed-media artist whose curiosity and love of color, texture, and form can be seen in each of her art pieces. A lifelong experimenter, Maria approaches creating art by simply trying it and seeing how it works.
