Basic Music Theory Session 3: Intervals & ear training, transposing (Online)
Music theory intimidates many singers. But theory is like a road map on our trip to becoming better musicians. It’s an essential piece of the puzzle, along with correct breathing, warm-up exercises, and so on. If you don’t understand what’s going on in your own sheet music and can’t explain it to your accompanist, then there’s just so far you can go as a singer/instrumentalist. Singer and vocal coach Cindy Williams knows how to make the topic accessible and fun! In this series of three interactive group classes, she gives you some of the basics to get you going. Take one or all. And while taking them in sequence would be most logical, it’s not required.
